That said Carl isn’t allowing himself to get too exited as technically he was trading as Ultima Thule for almost two years before becoming a limited company on the very last working day of the last century i.e. at the end of 1999.
🖥️ And, wow! that seems like an age ago and since then we’ve traded as both Ultima Thule and Thule Media – Ultima Thule for software development and Thule Media for Web Development and Digital Marketing services.
Thule Media is now most definitely the dominant part of the business but we still get involved in the odd request to develop bespoke software.
🔍 The origins of the business stem from Carl and the team at the time building one of the UK’s first search engines and then when realising that Google had won the battle of the search engines, evolving the system to become one of the world’s first commercially available brand monitoring engines that would also perform risk management tasks akin to what the security services now use when scanning social media conversations.
It is this deep knowledge of both software and search engines that has progressed us to become one of the most experienced digital marketing agencies in the UK, if not beyond.
