Harrison Lubrication Engineering (HLE) design, install and maintain bespoke grease and oil lubrication systems for industry. Our expertise ranges from the design of small, low cost drip and meter valve units to sophisticated solutions that monitor and lubricate hundreds of bearings.
We are familiar with meeting the lubrication requirements of a wide variety of industries including food processing, automotive production, power generation, quarrying and paper making. Typical applications include cooling fans, conveyor belts, pumps, chain-delivery systems and hoists.
Brief & Idea
Original brief (2015) was to design, develop and implement a new website design based on Magento 1 ecommerce software. That was highly successful in terms of improving rankings, traffic and sales/conversions.
In 2021 the new brief was to redesign, develop and migrate the ecommerce shop from Magento 1 to WordPress CMS. The migration from Magento 1 was essential as in 2020 Magento announced that Magento 1 would no longer be supported.
The new website (2021) was commissioned to bring the website up to date in terms of technology (WordPress/Woocommerce), security (software supported), management (visual page builder and product management), design and usability. Being optimised, easy to edit, mobile friendly and have a fully responsive design was a must have as part of the brief.
Result
The result… (2021) a fully upgraded/migrated Magento to WordPress (Woocommerce) based website that features a new design, full ecommerce shop, bespoke shop features, a visual page builder, mobile friendly layout and clear CTA.
The project also included initial optimisation, data migration, content refinement and product migration.
The project (since 2016 – present) continues to be a success in terms of generating organic rankings, traffic and lead/sales.
